Food Safety and Quality Refresher Training
Marlborough Vintners was the perfect location for the Springbrook team to hold a Food Safety and Quality refresher training on HACCP. This included biological, chemical, physical/ foreign matter, quality, regulatory, allergens and potential hazards.
This training ensures that all personnel performing work that effects product safety, legality and quality are demonstrating competency to carry out their activity, through training, work experience or qualification.
Welcome Ané
Springbrook are pleased to introduce Ané Du Preez who has joined the team as Development and Product Manager. Ané has shifted over from South Africa and has 16 years’ experience in adding flavour to food and strengthens Springbrook Foods ability to respond quickly to customer requests.

Rapid Relied Team

Cambodia Rural School Trust
Founded in 2011 by the Palti family from Melbourne, Australia, the Cambodia Rural School Trust (CRST) is a Non-Government Organisation. The mission of the CRST is to help break the poverty cycle through education by sponsoring bright students from poor families to study at the best available private high school and university. Springbrook are honoured to support CRST and all of the valuable work they do.
Here at Springbrook we believe everyone should be able to enjoy the taste of a nut butter without the fear of allergies, so we decided to make a nut flavoured spread that is the closest spread to peanut butter in terms of flavour and texture and manufactured right here in New Zealand . We’ve used delicious, nutty, and crunchy sunflower seeds which are widely considered as health foods, they are high in energy and an incredible source of health benefiting nutrients, minerals, antioxidants and vitamins. This is something we wanted to focus on but also provide a spread that can be enjoyed safely by people with nut allergies but also people who may want a nut free alternative. This perfect healthy snack can be enjoyed a variety of ways; on sliced apple or toast, mixed into sauce or eaten straight from the jar!
